Antlia H-alpha 36 mm 7 nm Prime is a professional astrophotography filter with a half-width transmission window (FWHM) of 7 nm. It transmits red light with a wavelength of 656.3 nm emitted by ionized hydrogen atoms, as well as N-II bands with wavelengths of 645.8 nm and 658.3 nm, which significantly improves the signal-to-noise ratio, as well as the contrast and detail of the captured images.

This filter combines the ability to almost completely eliminate the undesirable component coming from sodium and mercury lamps with high transmission for the Hα spectral line and the N-II bands. It was made on a high-quality optical glass substrate, ensuring high durability.

The Antlia H-alpha 36 mm 7 nm Prime filter is distinguished by a steep slope of the transmission window and a flat transmission curve. Carefully selected spectral characteristics with a half-pass width of 7 nm make filters from the 7 nm Prime family ideally suited to cooperation with telescopes with a wide range of light intensity, including the brightest smaller f/2 astrographs.

Attention! The Ha filter is not recommended for visual or solar observations.

Highlights of the Antlia H-alpha 36mm 7nm Prime filter

• bandpass filter made on a high-quality glass substrate, passing the Hα and N-II bands
• compatible with astrographs with light intensity up to f/2 with minimal signal loss
• Half Bandwidth (FWHM) of 7 nm
• optical density equivalent OD4 guaranteeing effective elimination of light pollution
