SVBONY O-III SV160 2" 7 nm is a professional astrophotographic filter with a half-transmissivity window (FWHM) of 7 nm. It transmits light with a wavelength of 500.7 nm emitted by ionized oxygen atoms, the registration of which is particularly important when photographing emission nebulae.
This filter combines the ability to almost completely eliminate the unwanted component coming from sodium and mercury lamps with high transmittance for the O-III spectral line, one of the most important from the point of view of astrophotography . It was made on a high-quality B-270 glass substrate, additionally secured with a multi-layer coating applied in the ion-assisted deposition process. Thanks to this technology, the obtained coating effectively stabilizes the position of the maximum permeability band, and also has a protective function due to increased resistance to scratches.
