The Fenix LR50R is a professional exploration and search torch that emits a beam of 12,000 lumens with a range of 950 m!
Construction Fenix LR50R is the newest long-range searchlight, which combines impressive light parameters with great functionality in a device with a relatively small weight and dimensions.
The body, 163 mm long, is made of aviation aluminum finished in the HAIII anodizing process, creating a durable protective coating with high scratch and abrasion resistance.
The transverse grooving of the head serves as a heat sink, whose task is to dissipate the excess heat generated by a set of 4 powerful LED emitters. The massive head is finished with a raised steel ring that allows for vertical positioning of the flashlight without the risk of damaging the optical system. Milling the body improves the grip and grip of the flashlight and gives it a modern style. Thanks to the flat base, the flashlight can be placed vertically ("candle" function) and efficiently illuminate the interior of the explored object or cave. The rear part has a hook for attaching a lanyard or a security cable. The flashlight has an additional metal clip for a carrying belt, which, after unscrewing the exposed threaded socket, is compatible with standard connectors of photographic tripods.
The impressive parameters of the light have been achieved thanks to the use of 4 Cree SST70 LEDs and smooth reflectors that reflect the light with a beam of up to 12,000 lumens at a distance of up to 950 m. This distance corresponds to the length of 8 full-size pitches football matches. Hardened glass with a transmittance of 98% has been covered with an anti-reflective coating, thus reducing light losses to a minimum. The powerful 75 ° wide stream can be used in search and rescue, exploration and extreme tourism, and facility monitoring.
Main modes: turbo 11,000 lumens high II 6000 lumens high and 3000 lumens Average 1000 lumens low 350 lumens eco 50 lumens
Additional modes: turbo 12,000 lumens 6000 lumens strobe SOS 350 lumens
Intelligent proximity sensor The flashlight uses an intelligent sensor that automatically detects when the head is too close to the ground. eco modes).
Comfort of use The flashlight is distinguished by a very simple and user-friendly interface, divided into main and additional modes. Separate steel buttons with high responsiveness and resistance to mechanical damage are used to activate and change the light modes.
The location of the switches on the side of the flashlight (under the thumb) makes the use and changing the parameters of the light very intuitive and convenient.
Fenix LR50R also has a lock function to prevent uncontrolled switching on of the light during transport. To do this, press and hold the switches for 3 seconds at the same time. The same steps are required to disable the lock.
A great convenience is the LED indicator informing about the battery charge status, activated by a single click of any switch (flashlight off).
Indicator markings: 4 lit LEDs: 100-80% 3 lit leds: 80-60% 2 LEDs on: 60-40% 1 lit LED: 40-20% 1 flashing LED: 20-0%
Power Fenix LR50R is powered by a powerful 12,000 mAh ARB-L52-16000 battery pack, on which the flashlight can work for up to 4 days in ecco mode (50 lumens) or 45 minutes in turbo mode (12,000 lumens ). An alternative form of power supply can be used in the flashlight in the form of 4 21700 batteries (not included).
Thanks to the use of the USB-C port and support for fast charging protocols PD3.0 / PD2, QC3.0 and QC2.0, we can use the ARB-L52-16000 battery in just a few hours.
A capacious battery and USB-C port allow the flashlight to act as a power bank, so that in a crisis situation we can charge the phone or PMR radio. Sockets are protected against moisture, rain and dust with tight rubber plugs.
Additional Features For the sake of safety and proper functioning, the Fenix LR50R has overheating protection, reverse polarity protection and a low battery warning.
The flashlight has a high degree of protection IP68, which means that it is completely resistant to dust, small solid bodies, full immersion in water (for 30 minutes at a depth of 2 m) and a fall from 1 meter.
All the parameters of the light and durability of the flashlight are in accordance with the ANSI / PLATO FL1 standards.
The presented parameters were obtained in laboratory conditions. During the tests, the Fenix ARB-L37-12000 battery was used. • maximum luminous flux: 12,000 lumens • maximum range: 950 m • maximum working time: 58 hours • number of modes: 9 • tightness class: IP68 • power supply: ARB-L52-16000 battery • complete with original Fenix battery • charging: via USB-C port • body: anodized duralumin • case: cordura • wrist bow: yes • length: 163 mm • head diameter: 88 mm • body diameter 60 mm • weight: 980 g
