TS Optics TS720 is a universal controller that allows for simultaneous operation of four heating tapes.
During many hours of exposure, the temperature of the optical tube may decrease significantly. Telescopes with an open structure are particularly sensitive, where, due to the cooling of the inside of the tube, the relative humidity of the air increases and the water vapor condenses on the mirrors. As a result, taking a good picture quickly becomes impossible, and the condensation can also damage highly sensitive electronic components such as cameras.
In order to prevent this undesirable phenomenon, one should use heating tapes to increase the temperature of selected elements of the optical system. However, it should be remembered that their power and temperature must be very precisely selected in order to avoid air ripples with too large temperature gradient inside the tube.
The solution to all these problems is the use of the TS Optics TS720 Heater Controller. This extremely easy-to-use device allows for precise regulation of the heating power of up to four heaters, the power plugs of which can be connected directly to the sockets on the controller housing. • simultaneous operation of four heaters
