Vortex Kill Flash ARD35 anti-glare shield for the StrikeFire red dot collimator - reduces reflexes, increases sharpness, contrast, reduces the visibility of the optics for an outside observer.
Kill Flash covers were originally used by snipers as an element of weapon disguise. The shield eliminated the reflection of light from the surface of the optics, which effectively prevented the shooter's position from being detected.
Vortex Kill Flash ARD is a lightweight polymer cap with a honeycomb structure, screwed directly onto the collimator lens. Its assembly is extremely simple, it only requires the ARD cover to be screwed onto the lens thread.
The cover protects the optics against scratches, small solid objects hits and effectively limits the visibility of the shooter's position.
