The Celestron Regal M2 telescope with 80 mm lens diameter is the second generation of Celestron's flagship observation telescopes. Both day and night, the Regal M2 is optimized to achieve maximum sharp images. It is created for bird watching, nature observation, landscape observations over long distances and for simple astronomical observations
High image resolution and accurate color reproduction will make every observer appreciate the Regal M2 telescope. Only the image accurately reproduced in the eyepiece will allow for the flawless determination of the color of the plumage of birds or recognition of aircraft airlines.
A microfocuser next to the focusing knob enables precise focusing. The telescope also has a retractable sun visor that significantly increases the contrast of the image observed against bright light. Tripod mount The Regal M2 telescope is made to allow the telescope to be rotated around its own axis without having to move the tripod.
The Regal M2 telescopes have low-dispersion (ED) glass lenses placed in sealed magnesium bodies whose weight has been reduced by more than 14% compared to the Regala from the previous version. Regal M2 is waterproof and nitrogen-filled, so it doesn't evaporate from the inside. It is distinguished from the previous version by a green, natural color, and includes a cover in the set
The riflescope in the angular version has an eyepiece directed at an angle of 45 degrees to the axis of the telescope, which makes it ideal for observation from a tripod. also for observing objects on the horizon (e.g. a ship at sea) or above it, e.g. mountains, windows of office buildings, astronomical objects. The LER (Long Eye Relief, with large exit pupil distance) eyepiece has a T2 thread and allows very easy connection of the camera with interchangeable optics (SLR / SLR) using optional bayonet adapters (T-rings). Most astronomical cameras also have a T2 thread (i.e. M42x0.75) on the input. • 80 mm lens - a precision lens made of very high quality (ED) glass is characterized by negligible dispersion and clear rendered image details with high contrast and significant brightness • Fully Multi-coated coatings ensure very high light transmission • the angular structure of the telescope will facilitate your observation in low positions, and will also make you guide it much longer and more conveniently • waterproof - the telescope is prepared for the possibility of moisture in the environment, along with the waterproofness goes hand in hand with dirt and dust resistance, the telescope in the Regal M2 version is completely waterproof and a nitrogen-filled eyepiece with variable magnification, allowing it to be fully adjusted • precise and intuitive focusing knob with micromovements, guarantees quick and efficient positioning it can be attached to a tripod equipped with a standard 1/4 inch connector • a movable element enabling the telescope to be positioned • retractable sun visor • the ability to connect a digital camera (DSLR), through the appropriate T-2 ring • the possibility of using 1.25 "astronomical glasses • convenient case for transporting the telescope with a strap included | • Lens diameter: | 80 mm | | • Zoom: | solid, 27x | | • Optical system: | ED doublet with an air gap | | • Focal length of the lens: | 480 mm | | • Lighted up by: | 1/6 | | • Anti-reflective layers: | FMC | | • Field of view with the factory eyepiece: | 2.1 ° / 37 m / 1000 m | | • Retraction of the pupil: | 32 mm (ideal for people wearing glasses) | | • Exit pupil diameter: | 2.9 mm | | • Minimum observation distance: | 6.5 m | | • Tube length: | 430 mm | | • Weight: | 1607 g |

The set includes: • 27x eyepiece • soft transport case • 1/4 "thread socket for connecting the telescope to a photographic tripod • T-2 thread on the eyepiece allowing connection of a SLR - only T2 ring required (for Nikon, Canon, Pentax K, Sony Alfa or Olympus E) 2 years

(note: the above pictures differ from the actual markings on the eyepiece) >> FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Question : Can I attach another eyepiece to the Celestron Regal scope? Answer: Celestron Regal telescopes have a 1.25 '' eyepiece adapter. Glasses in this standard are available to the public and you can always choose an eyepiece that meets your specific needs. However, it should be remembered that due to the design of the telescope sharpening system (internal focusing) and the use of a 45 ° prism, the telescope has a focus near the tube and may have difficulty focusing indefinitely in the case of glasses with optics offset by 2 cm and more from the sleeve 1, 25 ". Similarly with Barlow lenses - most likely they will not be able to work with this telescope. When choosing an eyepiece, make sure that the optics" start "close to the 1.25-inch sleeve leading to the telescope. Question : I see that the telescope has a thread on the lens side. What filters can be screwed there? Answer: Threading from the lens side is used to mount and factory adjust the position of the lens, it is not used to attach photographic filters or other objective filters.
