The ZWO ASI 6200MC-PRO color camera is a product for the most demanding astrophotography enthusiasts. Thanks to the use of a full-frame, high-quantum-efficiency, ultra-low-noise Sony IMX455 sensor and a 16-bit ADC, the camera produces breathtaking images with unprecedented sharpness and tonal dynamics.
A two-stage Peltier-based cooling system maintains the sensor's low dark current even during long exposures. Thanks to the sensor's active cooling, the noise at 0°C is just 0.003 e/s/pix, meaning that even with a 300-second exposure, it will still be negligible. The ASI 6200MC-PRO camera is a product where nothing has been left to chance. Thanks to the use of an optical sensor built using "back-illuminated" technology, unprecedented sensitivity has been achieved, allowing for the capture of weak signals from even the most distant DS objects.
