The Tele Vue UHC 2" filter from the Bandmate Type 2 series is a high-quality narrowband filter designed for observing emission nebulae and H II regions. It effectively improves the contrast between an object and the sky background by transmitting only light in a narrow range of wavelengths - mainly the H-beta (486 nm) and OIII (496 and 501 nm) lines.
