The Tele Vue Ethos-SX eyewear was designed by Al Nagler and Paul Dellechiaie to complement the Ethos range. These unique optical instruments are based on the assumptions Al Nagler adopted when developing the optics for the Apollo lunar module simulator, in which future Silver Globe winners practiced landings.

The determinant of the Ethos-SX models is an enormous field of view of up to 110 ° (identical to the field of view of the LEM simulator optics!), Allowing the observation of a large area of the sky with high magnification at the same time. The unique design of the hybrid optical system also ensures almost complete elimination of optical defects such as astigmatism or distortion, thanks to which the image is sharp and free from discoloration in any place of the field of view.

Tele Vue Ethos-SX 3.7 mm 2 / 1.25 "was constructed based on lenses covered with a full multi-layer coating and eliminating internal light reflections baffles, which made it possible to obtain a very good contrast, both while observing planets and deep sky objects.

Highlights of the Tele Vue Ethos-SX 3.7mm 2 / 1.25 "Eyepiece

• hybrid optical system
• lenses covered with full multi-layer coating
• large offset of the exit pupil ensuring comfortable observation
• construction enabling use with 2 "and 1.25" extractors thanks to the use of a dedicated adapter
