The Baader Narrowband O-III 8.5nm filter is a filter that ideally isolates spectral lines of ionized oxygen (496 nm and 501 nm), offering the highest contrast from all commercially available O-III filters. Ideal for taking pictures using CCD cameras due to the amazing contrast. We will not notice any deterioration in image quality, even at high magnifications. This filter allows you to observe the details of nebulae, which are only visible on astrophotography without it. Particularly recommended for the observation of the "Lagoon Nebula" - M8 in Sagittarius, the "Eagle Nebula" M16 in the Snake, the "Omega Nebula" M17 in Sagittarius and even M57 in Lutnia. The filter has been extremely precisely ground so that the surfaces are perfectly parallel and accurate to 1/4 the length of the wave over the entire surface.
