Each Seestar telescope has an individual serial number. Warranty, technical support and service handling apply only to devices from official distribution and purchased from our store or from authorized partners. We cannot guarantee support or service for telescopes from unauthorized distribution sources.
Please also note that Seestar telescopes offered on sales platforms with direct shipping from China may come from regional distribution intended for the Chinese market. According to information from the manufacturer, regional versions intended for the Chinese market may not work properly in Europe and may not be activated outside mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau. Purchasing such a device may therefore involve the risk of not being able to use the product normally in Poland and other European countries.
• Seestar is a precision optical and electronic instrument. Avoid dropping the device, impacts, and strong shocks, as they may cause damage to the equipment.
• image quality depends on environmental conditions, including light pollution, atmospheric transparency, parameter settings, and stacking duration. Actual results may vary depending on observing and imaging conditions.
• at 1× magnification, both the tele camera and the wide-angle camera capture images in 4K resolution, 3840 × 2160. At 2× and 4× magnification, the resolution is lower. The real-time live preview for both cameras has a resolution of 1080p.
• Milky Way imaging requires dark-sky conditions. In places with significant light pollution, Milky Way details may be limited or not visible.
• NFC functionality requires a compatible smartphone. Support for this function depends on the device and phone model. To use NFC, the telescope must be powered on, the phone must be unlocked, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS must be enabled.
• NFC sensitivity may vary depending on the device due to antenna placement. Locating the NFC sensing area on the phone may improve device detection. After changing the Wi-Fi network name, NFC information must be updated manually.
• available storage capacity may vary due to system usage and storage allocation. System updates may also affect the available space.
• battery life is measured under laboratory conditions. At 25°C, it is approximately 6 hours in Stargazing Mode, with image enhancement and object tracking enabled, and approximately 4 hours during video recording in Scenery Mode, in MP4 format and without object tracking. Actual battery life may vary.
• 60 s exposures are supported only in Equatorial Mode and are not available in Alt-Azimuth Mode. In Equatorial Mode, accurate polar alignment is required, as inaccurate alignment may reduce imaging quality.
• a solar filter must be installed when observing the Sun. Never point the main camera directly at the Sun without proper protection, as this may cause permanent damage to the device.
• smart noise reduction works only on real astronomical images. This function optimizes noise level and star image quality based on actually captured data. Seestar does not generate AI-created or synthetic images.
• Wi-Fi transmission range is measured under ideal conditions. ZWO laboratory tests indicate a range of up to 20 m in an open outdoor area without interference. Actual range depends on conditions of use.
• sudden weather changes, such as cloud cover, rain, or strong wind, may prevent a task from being completed. In such situations, the device does not power off automatically. Weather conditions should be checked before scheduling an imaging session.
• product serial numbers are shipped randomly from the warehouse and do not correspond to the order placement sequence.
• when replacing the battery cover, it is recommended to use a plastic pry tool. During removal, minor scratches may appear inside the battery-cover slot; this is considered normal. If a metal tool is used, it is advisable to protect the slot with a piece of paper to reduce the risk of deeper scratches.
ZWO Seestar S30 PRO Solar Eclipse Edition combines the functions of a compact digital telescope with the commemorative character of a limited edition, prepared for observing and recording solar phenomena as well as everyday mobile astrophotography.
