The Sky Rover Optics UF 18 mm Ultra Flat Field eyepiece belongs to the UF (Ultra Flat Field) series and is designed to provide a well-corrected flat image field. The optical system reduces field curvature and keeps edge distortion under control, allowing the eyepiece to deliver sharp images across the field of view. It maintains good image quality even in telescopes with relatively fast focal ratios.
The UF 18 mm features a compact mechanical design and a long eye relief of 20 mm, allowing comfortable observation even when wearing glasses. The foldable eyecup helps achieve a proper viewing position and minimizes blackouts when observing close to the eye. After removing the eyecup, an M43×0.75 thread becomes available for attaching photographic accessories or filters, enabling the eyepiece to be used for eyepiece projection photography.
