The Sky Rover Optics 155 mm APO PRO F/8 apochromatic telescope is a large refractor designed for both visual observation and advanced astrophotography. The optical system uses an air-spaced triplet apochromatic objective with a Super ED glass element, effectively reducing chromatic aberration and providing high contrast with excellent image sharpness.
The 155 mm aperture provides strong light-gathering capability, making the telescope suitable for planetary, lunar, and deep-sky observations. The F/8 focal ratio offers good image correction and comfortable operation for both visual observing and astrophotography.
The telescope is equipped with a robust 3.7" Rack & Pinion dual-speed focuser and a CAA camera rotator, allowing convenient framing during imaging. The mechanical structure includes three tube rings – two supporting the telescope body and a third serving as a balancing and sliding element. The package also includes dovetail plates compatible with both Losmandy and Vixen standards. A retractable dew shield and a detachable focuser extension tube make it easier to configure the telescope with various accessories, including binoviewers.
