The Sky Rover Optics 130 mm APO PRO F/7 apochromatic telescope is a high-quality refractor designed for both visual observation and advanced astrophotography. The air-spaced triplet apochromatic objective with a Super ED element provides excellent chromatic aberration correction, high contrast, and high image resolution.
The upgraded v2023 version introduces several mechanical improvements that enhance stability and optical performance. The telescope tube is now directly connected to the focuser assembly, eliminating the rear rotating mechanism used in earlier versions and improving the mechanical axis stability. The redesigned 3.7" Rack & Pinion focuser features improved manufacturing precision and integrates a new v2 field rotator with laser-engraved angle indicators for smooth and accurate framing during astrophotography.
In the v2023 model, the lens flange plate has been moved forward to allow adjustment using a hex wrench without removing the dew shield. The adjustment mechanism uses the classic three-group screw system for convenient operation. The telescope is factory calibrated, so users normally do not need to perform adjustments themselves. The new wide dovetail plate follows the Losmandy standard and measures approximately 450 mm in length, offering multiple mounting holes and slots for balancing the telescope and attaching accessories.
