The Sky Rover Optics 70 mm APO PRO F/6 apochromatic telescope is a compact refractor designed for portable astronomical observation and wide-field astrophotography. The optical system uses an air-spaced triplet apochromatic objective including a Super ED glass element manufactured in Japan, providing excellent chromatic aberration correction and high image quality.
The optical system is precisely manufactured and carefully collimated during production, ensuring high resolution and contrast. The updated mechanical design includes a 2" Rack & Pinion dual-speed focuser and an integrated CAA field rotator located at the rear of the focuser, making framing and camera rotation convenient for astrophotography.
The compact and lightweight optical tube makes the telescope particularly suitable as a travel instrument. The total weight of the OTA is only about 1.9 kg, allowing it to be used even on smaller equatorial or photographic mounts. The lens ring mounting system provides stable attachment, while multiple mounting holes allow easy installation of accessories and tripod adapters.
