The Optolong HSO / SHO H-alpha 7 nm, O-III 6.5 nm, S-II 6.5 nm Filter Set (Optolong, SKU: SHO-2) is a professional solution for Deep Sky astrophotography using medium and large CCD and CMOS sensors. The set includes three narrowband key-line filters, allowing detailed capture of hydrogen (H-alpha), doubly ionized oxygen (O-III) and doubly ionized sulfur (S-II) emission regions.
• three narrowband key-line filters: H-alpha, O-III and S-II
• 50.8 mm (2") diameter providing direct compatibility with standard filter wheels and drop-in systems
• suitable for telescopes using sensors with a diagonal from 20 mm up to 36 mm, including full-frame sensors
• high contrast and spectral separation, reducing the impact of light pollution
• enhanced rendering of nebular structures and color differentiation
• compatible with monochrome CCD and CMOS cameras
• suitable for sensors such as IMX 533, IMX 294, IMX 571 and IMX 455
• narrow FWHM bandwidths: 7 nm (H-alpha) and 6.5 nm (O-III and S-II), enabling imaging even under suburban skies
• intended for emission nebula imaging
• allows creation of narrowband RGB images and Hubble palette (SHO) compositions
• filter bands: H-alpha 7 nm, O-III 6.5 nm, S-II 6.5 nm
• narrowband design with high transmission
• multi-layer AR anti-reflection coatings reducing internal reflections and ghosting
• mechanically stable construction
• anodized aluminum filter cell
• optical glass suitable for astronomical applications
