The Oberwerk 22 mm 70° eyepiece set is designed for the Oberwerk XL series binocular telescopes, offering the lowest possible magnifications while maintaining a wide field of view and excellent optical performance. With an advanced 8-element optical design, these eyepieces deliver a 70° apparent field of view with sharp, well-corrected images all the way to the edge — ideal for panoramic and wide-field celestial observations.
Sharing the same styling and build quality as the standard 14 mm XL eyepieces, the 22 mm version features a larger diameter. To enhance observing comfort and avoid nose interference, each eyepiece includes a tapered upper section and soft foldable neoprene eyecups. With a true eye relief of 16 mm, they are also suitable for observers who wear glasses. The 1.25" barrels are threaded for use with standard astronomical filters.
