The Oberwerk 70XL-SD 70mm APO SD Giant Binocular (SKU: 70XL-SD) is the most compact model in the premium SD lineup, featuring high-performance FCD100 SD apochromatic objectives. Designed to deliver exceptional image quality in a lightweight and portable format, it combines outstanding chromatic correction with a robust magnesium-alloy body that is waterproof and nitrogen-filled for full outdoor reliability.
 
With a 390 mm focal length, the binocular includes Oberwerk’s top-tier 14 mm, 8-element eyepieces with a 70° apparent field, providing 28× magnification and a 2.5° true field of view. The 18 mm eye relief and 2.5 mm exit pupil ensure excellent viewing comfort, including for eyeglass wearers. Optional 7 mm eyepieces allow magnification up to 56× while preserving APO-level optical performance.
