Indigo Filter Wheel with mounted 2" LRGB filter set (PegasusAstro, SKU: PEG-INDIGOFW-BUNDLE) is a complete astrophotography solution combining the slim Indigo Filter Wheel with factory-installed 2" photographic LRGB filters. The bundle is designed for reliable remote operation, precise filter positioning and minimal backfocus requirements in modern imaging trains.

The Indigo Filter Wheel uses a stepper motor combined with optical encoders to achieve accurate and repeatable filter positioning. The carousel can rotate in both directions, while a shortest-path algorithm selects the fastest route between filters. The CNC-machined aluminium body enables an ultra-thin design – only 19.0 mm thick (19.6 mm with adapters installed on both sides), making it easy to maintain correct backfocus.

The included parfocal LRGB 2" filters are optimised for astrophotography. RGB filters feature equal colour weights (1:1:1), and the gap between the green and red bands suppresses the primary sodium light pollution line at 589 nm. The luminance filter also acts as a UV/IR cut filter, improving image sharpness and reducing halos, especially when used with sensors lacking built-in IR blocking.
