EQDIR USB Stick – DB9 (PegasusAstro, SKU: PEG-EQDIR-USB-DB9) is a compact USB adapter for direct EQMOD control of Sky-Watcher and Orion mounts, eliminating the need for a hand controller. It allows direct connection of the mount to a PC or laptop and full control via astronomy software, making it ideal for remote observatories.
The device is designed as a small USB stick and is based on a genuine FTDI USB-to-Serial chipset, ensuring excellent compatibility and reliable communication. It is natively supported by Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems, with drivers installed automatically by the OS. The DB9 version is intended for older mounts using a DB9 connector.
