The Optolong L-Synergy SII/OIII 7nm Dual Band - High Transmission & LP Rejection Filter (SKU: L-Synergy-2) is a next-generation dual-band narrowband filter designed for astrophotography in severe light pollution or during full moon conditions. It isolates the crucial SII (672.4 nm) and OIII (500.7 nm) emission lines with high transmission, while effectively blocking other wavelengths, including sodium vapor, mercury vapor, and skyglow. This allows for high-contrast, high-detail images of emission nebulae, even with color cameras (OSCs). • passband width 7 nm: SII 672.4 nm and OIII 500.7 nm • very high transmission in emission bands • effective reduction of light pollution and moonlight • ideal for photographing emission nebulae rich in SII and OIII • compatible with color and monochrome cameras • possibility of creating a Hubble palette (SHO) in combination with a Ha/OIII filter (e.g. Optolong L-eXtreme or L-Ultimate) • minimizing the halo effect, high contrast and image detail • perfect cooperation with filter wheels, filter drawers and 2" adapters • filter type: narrowband, dual band • transmitted wavelengths: OIII 500.7 nm; SII 672.4 nm • bandwidth: 7 nm • transmission: Tp ~85% • Diameter: 2" (50.8 mm) • optical thickness: 1.85 mm • shape: round, threaded • surface quality: 60/40 • flatness: λ/4 • parallelism: 30 s • material: optical glass • manufacturer: Optolong
