Daystar Filters ERF 100 mm (glass + cell + 120 mm ID cap) – for refractor (SKU: E-120N100) is an Energy Rejection Filter designed to reduce thermal load in telescopes used for hydrogen-alpha solar observation. Mounted at the front of the telescope, the filter absorbs or reflects ultraviolet and infrared radiation while transmitting light in the desired visible spectrum. This significantly reduces the heat reaching the H-alpha filter assembly and helps maintain stable operation of systems such as DayStar Quark or Quantum filters.
