The PrimaLuceLab SPIDER 230C radio telescope (SKU: SPIDER230C-KIT) is a compact radio astronomy kit with a 2.3 m diameter parabolic antenna. This modular solution requires an equatorial mount with a load capacity of at least 50 kg (not included). The radio telescope is optimized for operation at 1420 MHz, enabling advanced observations in the neutral hydrogen band. The price listed is for the basic version – more advanced kits are also available and are discussed individually by email. The lead time and installation costs of SPIDER radio telescopes are discussed individually, depending on the selected configuration and installation location. • WEB230-5 parabolic antenna with a diameter of 2.3 m with an aluminum mesh surface (3×4 mm mesh) ensuring reflection of waves up to 5 GHz • optimized H-FEED illuminator for 1420 MHz frequency with dual polarization support (LHCP and RHCP) and two LNA amplifiers • support for equatorial mount with Losmandy clamp and counterweight system (EQ8 or similar mount required, not included) • H142-PRO 1420 MHz receiver (radiometer and spectrometer) with 50 MHz band and 1024 channels, installed in a 19" rack or on a desk • RadioUniversePRO software for Windows 10/11 enabling full control of the radio telescope and data acquisition • design optimized for low weight, high stiffness and wind resistance • WEB230-5 parabolic antenna with a diameter of 2.3 m with a holder for parallax mounting • 1420 MHz H-FEED illuminator with two LNA amplifiers • device supporting installation on a parallactic mount (PrimaLuceLab patent) • H142-PRO 1420 MHz receiver with radiometer and spectrometer • RadioUniversePRO software for control and data acquisition • wiring and installation accessories • technical documentation • antenna diameter: 2.3 m • antenna construction: aluminum mesh (3×4 mm), operating band up to 5 GHz • required assembly load capacity: ≥50 kg, Losmandy type clamp • receiving band: 1420 MHz (neutral hydrogen) • H142-PRO receiver: radiometer/spectrometer, double frequency conversion, bandwidth 50 MHz (1395–1445 MHz) • A/D converter: 14-bit • number of channels: 1024 (61 kHz resolution) • control: RadioUniversePRO software (Windows 10/11, ASCOM) • IF outputs: 2 (with the possibility of connecting additional backends) • receiver mounting and power supply: 19" rack or free-standing on a desk
