The Askar 60F Flat-Field 60mm 60/408 f/6.8 is a compact, four-element apochromatic refractor designed for both astrophotography and visual observations. Its small size and low weight make it an excellent choice for those seeking a portable instrument with high-quality optics. Thanks to the built-in flattener, the telescope offers a flat field of view up to full frame, without the need for additional corrections or time-consuming backfocus calculations.
The optical system, based on four elements (three at the front, one at the rear), including one made of low-dispersion (ED) glass, provides excellent correction of chromatic aberration and sharp, contrasting images across the entire field of view. The diameter of the circle of full illumination is 44 mm, making the telescope suitable for use with full-frame cameras and camcorders.
The telescope is equipped with a 2.4" rack & pinion focuser with a 1:10 microfocus ratio and a built-in 360° rotator, which facilitates framing and precise focusing. The set includes photographic adapters with M48×0.75 and M54×0.75 threads, enabling quick connection of cameras and SLRs.
Thanks to the 1.25" and 2" adapters, the Askar 60F telescope can also be used for visual observations. The sun dew shield is retractable, improving portability and reducing transport length. The tube has a matte interior finish and finder scope sockets on both sides of the focuser and on the handle, which increases flexibility when mounting additional accessories. • four-element APO design with one ED lens
