The Antlia NII Pro 3nm filter is a premium narrowband astrophotography filter designed to capture emission nebulae that shine strongly in the nitrogen [NII] band at a wavelength of 654.8 nm. With an exceptionally narrow passband of FWHM = 3 nm, the filter effectively cuts off unwanted background light, significantly increasing contrast and enabling clear visibility of nebula structures. The maximum transmission of 88% at the central wavelength ensures a strong signal, while the high out-of-band blocking (OD5) reduces the influence of light interference from other wavelengths. The filter is optimized to reduce the halo effect around bright stars, making it an ideal choice for demanding astrophotographers. The filter is made of a single optical glass without any glues, which eliminates internal reflections and increases optical reliability. It is suitable for use in both bright and dark observing locations. It can also be used with telescopes with a light ratio of up to f/3 without significant signal losses. The Antlia NII 3nm Pro filter is designed exclusively for photographing objects containing emission in the nitrogen (NII) band. Its quality and precision of workmanship allow to reduce post-processing time and increase the efficiency of each photo session - even with a bright Moon. • central wavelength (CWL): 654.8 nm • bandwidth (FWHM): 3 nm • peak transmission: 88% • Out-of-band blocking: >OD5 (0.001%) in the range of 300–1100 nm • filter thickness: 2 mm ± 0.05 mm • optical substrate: single glass, no gluing • surface quality: 60/40 (according to MIL-O-13830) • Transmission wave front: λ/4 or better • surface parallelism: <30 arc seconds • frame: 2" (thread M48×0.75)
