A 19mm focal length eyepiece with a huge 82-degree field of view, equal in this respect to the famous Nagler eyepieces. The Luminos 19mm is a 6-element design enclosed in an anodized aluminum body. A rubber ring is placed on the eyepiece allowing for a firm grip. The distance between the exit pupil and the eyepiece is 20mm, which guarantees adequate comfort of observation even for people wearing prescription glasses. The eyepiece has a standard 2” filter mount.

Luminos series eyepieces provide a very well corrected image even in telescopes with a light intensity of about f/5.

The 19mm focal length allows you to observe various types of objects. In most telescopes, this eyepiece provides medium magnifications useful for sky surveys. For example, in Dobsonian 8, this eyepiece provides 63x magnification with a real field of view of about 1.3° - with these parameters, we can attempt to observe numerous deep sky objects, such as open clusters, nebulae, large galaxies or entire galaxy groups (such as the famous Leo Triplet). All Luminos series eyepieces are mutually parfocal and do not require a significant change in focus when changing the eyepiece in the telescope's extension tube.
