A 10mm focal length eyepiece with a huge 82-degree field of view, equal in this respect to the famous Nagler eyepieces. Luminos is a 7-element design enclosed in an anodized aluminum body. A rubber ring is placed on the eyepiece allowing for a firm grip. This is probably one of the cheapest eyepieces with such a large field of view on the market. The distance of the exit pupil from the eyepiece is 12mm, which guarantees appropriate comfort of observation. The eyepiece has a standard 1.25" filter mount. Eyepieces from the Luminos series provide a very well-corrected image even in telescopes with a light intensity of f/5.
The 10mm focal length, depending on the telescope, will allow you to obtain medium or large magnifications useful for observing compact nebulae, globular clusters, planets and the surface of the Moon. Used in the Dobsonian 8 telescope, it will give a magnification of 120x, ideal for globular clusters and planetary nebulae, in the long-focus BK MAK 150 telescope, the magnification will be 180x, which will be an ideal planetary magnification for most nights for this telescope. All Luminos series eyepieces are mutually parfocal and when changing the eyepiece in the telescope's extension, they do not require a significant change in focus. • series: Luminos • eyepiece focal length: 10 mm • apparent field of view: 82° • Diaphragm diameter: 17 mm • eyepiece optical system: hybrid • exit pupil distance: 12 mm • number of lenses: 7 • coatings: FMC • eyecup: unscrewable • Frame diameter: 1.25" • weight: 340 g
