Skywatcher 6" Newtonian Primary Mirror Deflector

You may have noticed that your images have a “halo” around the stars in longer exposures.

The deflector ring prevents or significantly reduces star "bulge" in deep-sky shots.

Installation on the Newton is very simple.

The primary mirror does not need to be removed from the mirror cell.

Simply remove the primary mirror from the tube and attach the ring to the provided holes with the existing screws.

You just have to open the screws, insert the ring in the middle and screw everything back together.

The deflector ring is printed in PLA with super-definition carbon filament!

Never use solar filters in combination with the baffle ring of your Newtonian! Too much heat inside the tube can, in the worst case, cause the baffle ring to overheat and damage the primary mirror.
