The Artesky 480mm Losmandy plate has been designed to allow you to install your instruments on mounts equipped with this attachment. The plate is 480mm long and is useful for installing large telescopes, such as refractors up to 200mm in diameter or Newtonian telescopes up to 450mm in diameter, on mounts equipped with a Losmandy attachment such as the iOptron GEM45 or CEM70 or CEM120 or the Skywatcher EQ6-R, AZEQ6 or EQ8 The Losmandy 480 Artesky plate is equipped with a central milling and several holes to allow you to easily mount any accessory such as rings, guide rings, clamps or a telescope, even from other brands. The thickness of the Losmandy bar is 14mm while the width is 110mm. Artesky wanted to integrate a very deep (20 micron) type of anodization of the plates into this new project. This product is created from blocks of aluminum that are machined by CNC machines at very high precision, then sandblasted to ensure a high quality surface finish and then deep anodized (also called hard anodized) to protect it from corrosion and increase the hardness of the aluminum. It is possible to install the Artesky Losmandy 480 plate under the telescope support rings to connect it to mounts with a Losmandy attachment and ensure better precision and grip of the instrument itself. It is possible to install the Losmandy 480 Artesky plate above the telescope rings to increase the rigidity of the structure and to be able to connect accessories such as clamps, guide rings, guide telescope, etc... It is possible to create a double plate if combined with two clamps
