Usually photography is done with a CCD/CMOS camera or for planetary imaging directly from the telescope. With this technique it has become possible to take beautiful images of planets and deep-sky objects. But what about those objects and events that could previously be captured using camera lenses with very short or medium focal lengths, and what about panoramic images of the sky and larger astronomical objects? Now you can use your CCD camera with regular Canon EOS lenses too, thanks to the Artesky T2 adapter for EOS bayonets. If you use one of your Canon EOS lenses as the front optic instead of your telescope – like a small telescope with a short focal length, so to speak – it makes no difference whether you use an original Canon EF lens or another brand. The important thing is that the Canon EOS type bayonet is present. Thanks to the T2 fitting on the other side of the EOS Artesky adapter you can attach a CCD camera of your choice. The T2 is the standard fitting in astronomy, to which any accessory can be connected. To maintain the exact distance of 45mm from the lens to the sensor, you can use the various T2 extension tubes from the vast Artesky assortment. You can use the Artesky EOS T2 adapter by simply attaching it to a photographic tripod or the Piggyback adapter of your telescope. The adapter is compatible with Canon bayonet lenses but Nikon bayonet lenses can also be adapted as long as you have a converter. On the chamber side, a male T2 thread is available. It is compatible with QHY 183/163/168 CMOS cameras and ZWO 1600/294/183/071/385/224 ASI CMOS cameras, etc and many more. Canon/T2 Bayonet Lens Adapter
