This laser collimator allows you to determine whether your Newtonian is collimated or not, and to re-collimate it quickly and very precisely!

Particularly suitable for Newton Skywatcher, Celestron, TS, GSO, etc..

What are the advantages of this collimator over others?

Here they are!

- The collimator is made entirely of metal; once you collimate your telescope with this laser, it will not lose collimation very easily.

-VERY IMPORTANT! The laser can be re-collimated. If it loses its collimation, you can restore it.

- You will have a 45° view of the light returning to your laser, for maximum comfort

- Long 31.8mm barrel to prevent movement inside the focuser

- Light intensity adjustable in 7 different positions

What if my newton is open? No problem!

Very open Newtonians (F/4) have an offset on the secondary, that is, the secondary is not perfectly centered but slightly shifted to best illuminate the field.

This is not a problem with a laser collimator!

The 45° section allows the collimation of large instruments even by a single person!

The 45° section allows a correct and comfortable view of the collimation of your telescope, even if it is large.

This way, only one person will be needed to collimate the instrument.

A Quick Guide to Collimation with the Artesky LA2-AR Laser Collimator

Preparation:

Position the focuser upwards and pull it out to your focus position.

Insert the laser collimator into the focuser keeping the 45° section facing you.

Secondary collimation:

Turn on the Artesky laser collimator, the red dot must be in the center of the round reference positioned on the primary mirror.

Use the secondary adjustment screws to position the laser dot in the center of the primary reference.

Primary collimation:

The red laser dot reflected on the 45° section must be in the center of the hole.

Using the primary adjustment screws, you need to move it to the correct position.

Done!

Now your Newtonian telescope is properly collimated and you can take full advantage of it!

A CR 2023 battery is required
