The guide scope is extremely necessary when doing astrophotography, the UltraGuide is a telescope with a focal length of 400mm for a ratio of F/5.7, ideal for instruments with medium or long focal length. The 31.8mm focuser allows the UltraGuide to be used both as a finder and as a guide scope, in fact it is equipped with a T2 thread to allow attachment to the majority of guide cameras on the market.
