Levenhuk Discovery Femto Polar is a classic bright field microscope that, due to its excellent optical parameters and high-quality build, is especially recommended for learning the basics of microscopic observation techniques. The microscope was developed by Levenhuk and is branded by the Discovery channel, one of the most recognizable TV stations in the world, which has been presenting extremely valuable content popularizing many different fields of science and technology for many years.
The excellent quality and high image detail is ensured by a carefully designed optical system, which consists of three achromatic lenses, 10x WF eyepieces and a condenser with a numerical aperture of 0.65. All lenses are made of carefully selected types of optical glass ensuring high image detail and resolution. The set also includes a 3 MPix camera that allows you to record videos and save photos.
The microscope is equipped with a double LED illumination powered by three AAA batteries or a mains adapter. Additionally, the set includes the book Invisible World, which brings closer the secrets of the microworld. • classic design with double LED backlighting designed for bright field observations • rotatable head with WF 10x eyepiece • achromatic lenses made of optical glass • coaxial coarse and fine focus adjustment • 3 MPix camera with the ability to record videos and save photos • in a set with the book "The Invisible World" • type of microscope: bright field microscope • magnification: 40 - 400x • lenses: achromatic • lens magnification: 4x, 10x, 40x • lens material: optical glass • eyepiece: wide field (WF) • eyepiece magnification: 10x • head: rotatable, 360° • eyepiece tube inclination: 45° • Diameter of the eyepiece tube: 23.2 mm • revolver: 3 objective • focus adjustment: manual • focus adjustment range coarse (0.5 mm) / fine (0.002 mm) • table dimensions: 90 x 90 mm • table movement range: 10 mm • diaphragm: membrane (6 apertures) • condenser numerical aperture: 0.65 • light source location: lower (0.2 W), upper (0.1 W) • light source: LED • lighting power supply: 3 AA batteries / mains power supply 110 - 240 V • camera matrix resolution: 3 Mpix • matrix format: 1/2.7" • matrix type: CMOS • Single pixel diameter: 2.2 x 2.2 µm • spectral range of the matrix: 380 - 650 nm • built-in IR filter: yes • white balance: manual / automatic • exposure time: automatic • video recording: yes • frame rate: 3 fps @ 2048 x 1536 px, 5 fps @ 1600 x 1200 px, 7.5 fps @ 1280 x 1024 px • video recording format: .wmv, .avi, .h264, h265 • photo saving: yes • photo saving format: .jpg, .bmp, .png, tiff • camera power supply: via USB port • software: LevenhukLite • system requirements: Windows 8/10/11, Mac OS X, Linux, 2.8 GHz processor (Intel Core 2 or newer), 2 GB RAM, USB 2.0 port, CD drive • software languages: Polish, Russian, English, German, French, Chinese, Turkish • body material: metal • packaging dimensions: 350 x 220 x 170 mm • Levenhuk Discovery Femto Polar microscope • WF 10x eyepiece • 4x, 10x, 40x lenses • 3 AA batteries • power supply with cable • dust cover • 3 Mpix camera • USB 2.0 cable • CD with software • book "The Invisible World" • documentation 10-year manufacturer's warranty
