William Optics Pleiades 181 mm is a flagship astrograph designed for professional astrophotography applications. This telescope is dedicated to the most advanced astrophotography enthusiasts due to its parameters and powerful capabilities.

The heart of this telescope is the seven-element optics, in the design of which the use of as many as three low-dispersion lenses made of super ED glass has been taken into account. Thanks to this procedure, this instrument has excellent correction of chromatic aberrations, which, combined with high light intensity and large aperture, guarantees obtaining images with excellent detail. Thanks to the careful selection of materials and precise workmanship, the optical system of the William Optics Pleiades 181 mm telescope is characterized by a Strehl coefficient value of >0.96, which places this instrument in the absolute world's top of professional astrographs. The telescope tube is equipped with a solid rack & pinion type extension with a diameter of 3.7" adapted to mount the largest astrophotographic cameras.

The telescope tube is mounted on precisely made clamps, equipped with a socket for mounting a finder or guide scope.
