Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube with a mirror diameter of 203 mm and a focal length of 2032 mm - its optics consist of a main mirror, aspherical correction plate, secondary mirror and an angle cap with an eyepiece. Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes usually have shorter focal lengths than Maksutov telescopes and are used more universally. By using a special dedicated focal length reducer, which is attached to the eyepiece extractor, you can additionally increase the lumen up to f / 6.3. This is of great importance, especially in the astrophotography of nebula objects.

SCT telescopes are short, relatively light, and with large apertures much more practical than Newtonian telescopes. The focusing is done just like in Maksutov telescopes - with the main mirror shift knob of the telescope. The knob is located on the mirror housing, ie at the back of the telescope.

The telescope is equipped with StarBright XLT coatings, the optical efficiency of which is 16% higher compared to traditional coatings.
