The Sky Rover Optics 82 mm APO BINO 90° is a binocular telescope designed for astronomical and nature observations. Two independent optical paths allow the observer to use both eyes, while the 82 mm objective lenses provide substantial light-gathering capability. The focal length is 470 mm, corresponding to a focal ratio of approximately f/5.7.
Each optical path uses an air-spaced apochromatic doublet objective containing a Super ED glass element. The APO design reduces chromatic aberration, improving image clarity, contrast and colour reproduction when observing astronomical objects and distant terrestrial targets.
The 90° eyepiece configuration makes it easier to observe objects located high above the horizon. Interpupillary distance can be adjusted between 54 and 75 mm, while focus is set independently for each eye using two helical focusing mechanisms. The eyepieces are secured with coaxial screw locks.
The binoculars have a magnesium-aluminium alloy body, an integrated carrying handle and a base equipped with 1/4" and 3/8" mounting sockets. The set includes two UF18 mm eyepieces providing approximately 26.1× magnification and a fitted hard carrying case.
