The series name comes from the advanced CGEM II equatorial mount used here. This mount is a modernized successor to the long-known CGEM mount line, combining compact dimensions with high functionality and load-bearing capacity. The CGEM II mount is perfect for amateur applications in visual observations and astrophotography. Positioned between the Advanced VX mount and the new CGX series mounts.
