The history of this corrector dates back to 1989 when one of the most recognizable designers of professional astronomical optics, Paul Dellechiaie, began working with his team on an early This design was further developed, which resulted in the introduction to the market of the currently produced type 2, commonly referred to as the best instrument of this type in the world.

Tele Vue Paracorr 2 "Type 2 allows for an ideal coma correction, an optical aberration that causes stars in the telescope's field of view to take the shape of a comet with a ray extending tails, an effect that becomes all the more noticeable the more you see it. The light of the observation instrument is bigger, unlike other correctors it is not dedicated only to astrophotography, its assembly does not require complicated interference with the structure of the extractor, and the apparent field of view is not limited only to 50 degrees.

The innovative optical structure used in this model enables cooperation with very bright Newtonian telescopes, the luminosity of which may be even f / 3, offering a perfectly corrected image free from discoloration and spherical aberration. In practice, this allows you to use the full field of view of the telescope, without the need for continuous correction aimed at keeping the observed object at the point of focus located in the very center of the image. The Paracorr is equipped with a 1.15x magnification lens and is compatible not only with all Tele Vue glasses, but also with glasses from other manufacturers.
