Sky Rover Optics 20–40×56 APO Banner Cloud Spotting Scope is a compact spotting scope from the SRBC series, designed for observing birds, wildlife and landscape details. It combines a 56 mm objective lens with a zoom eyepiece that provides continuously variable magnification from 20× to 40×. The magnesium alloy body, 275 mm length and 1090 g weight make it easy to transport and use in the field.

The APO optical system incorporates two extra-low dispersion ED glass elements that reduce chromatic aberration and colour fringing around high-contrast details. Broadband XMC fully multi-coated anti-reflection coatings reduce reflections at optical surfaces. The eyepiece provides a manufacturer-specified constant apparent field of view of 66° throughout the zoom range. The minimum focusing distance is 2.5 m, allowing observation of subjects close to the viewing position.

The nitrogen-filled body has an IPX7 waterproof rating, and the nitrogen reduces the risk of internal fogging. The tripod mount is compatible with the Arca-Swiss system. An additional 1/4"-20 threaded socket allows other compatible tripod plates to be attached. When using the Arca-Swiss mount, ensure that the safety lock is properly engaged.
