Holosun AEMS Macro MRS Red Dot enclosed reflex sight, black (SKU: AEMS-MACRO-RD / 48864) is a compact pistol sight with a 23 × 23 mm optical window. The enclosed construction protects the emitter and internal optical components from contamination. The 1× magnification, unlimited eye relief and lenses with multilayer coatings allow viewing with both eyes open.
The MRS (Multi-Reticle System) offers a choice of a red 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle or their combination. Reticle brightness can be adjusted manually across 12 levels: 8 daylight settings and 4 compatible with night vision devices. An automatic mode is also available, supported by a light sensor facing forwards. Lock Mode locks the buttons to prevent accidental setting changes.
Power is supplied by a CR1632 battery in a side tray, allowing replacement without removing the sight. In automatic mode, Solar Failsafe uses energy from the solar panel under suitable lighting conditions and provides a backup power source. Shake Awake turns off illumination after a period without movement and restores it when motion is detected. The sight retains the last brightness setting and features a battery level indicator. The stated battery life is up to 100,000 hours with the dot-only reticle at brightness setting 6.
The housing is made from 7075-T6 aluminium alloy with a hard anodized finish. The sight has an IPX8 water resistance rating and a stated vibration resistance of 5000 G. The AEMS Macro uses the Holosun 509T mounting footprint. The included RMR-to-509T adapter plate allows installation on a compatible RMR mounting interface.
