The series name comes from the advanced CGEM II equatorial mount used here. This mount is a modernized successor to the long-known CGEM mount line, combining compact dimensions with high functionality and load-bearing capacity. The CGEM II mount is perfect for amateur applications in visual observations and astrophotography. Positioned between the Advanced VX mount and the new CGX series mounts. The series includes Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes with 8", 9.25" and 11" apertures and a new product - a Maksutov telescope with a 7" aperture.

The highest class CGEM-II 700 telescope in the Maksutov-Cassegrain optical system equipped with StarBright XLT optical coating and a computerized CGEM-II equatorial mount. The Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope with a diameter of 180mm (7") and a focal length of 2700mm. Despite its large diameter, it is still quite a compact telescope, and its usability is high. When equipped with a T-Adapter and T-Ring, the tube can be used as a powerful astrograph for photographing bright objects in the Solar System.
