A LED illuminator mounted on the lens of stereoscopic microscopes giving a white and very bright light. It is sometimes used as an additional lighting, but often it is the main upper lighting (when viewed in reflected light). Particularly recommended when the typical upper lighting angle is not good for the preparation, eg due to the adjustment range or reflections.
The illuminator is equipped with a smooth adjustment of the intensity of the light. In addition, the LED diode does not generate heat, so it does not heat the observed object.
Thanks to the adjustable diameter of up to 60 mm , it can be used with the majority of stereoscopic microscopes available on the market.
