Discovery Gator is a series of monoculars developed by Levenhuk and branded with the Discovery Channel, one of the most recognizable television stations in the world, which for many years has been presenting extremely valuable content popularizing many different fields of science and technology.
Levenhuk Discovery Gator 8x42 is an 8x optical magnification monocular with a 42mm objective lens. The instrument uses a prism made of BK-7 glass, which, due to its high Abbe number, keeps chromatic aberrations to a minimum, and therefore ensures faithful color rendering in the field of view. The lenses of the monocular are additionally covered with full multi-layer coating (FMC), which significantly improves image contrast.
