The Celestron 1.25" double polarizing filter is a specialized accessory especially recommended for use in visual observations of planets and photographing the surface of the Moon.
The use of a polarizing filter allows for improved contrast and better extraction of details by reducing glare. Thanks to the possibility of adjustment by turning the filter holder, you can easily adjust the amount of light reaching the eyepiece in the range from 1 to 40 percent.
