The Chroma H-alpha 3 nm 36 mm unmounted (SKU: CT-27001-36D) is a narrowband filter designed for astrophotography of emission nebulae. Its very narrow 3 nm bandwidth provides maximum selectivity for the H-alpha line, resulting in high contrast and rich detail in images even against light-polluted skies. • bandwidth of 3 nm, concentrated on the H-alpha line (approx. 656 nm) • bandwidth transmission at approximately 99% • hard coatings applied using the reactive magnetron sputtering method – high durability and resistance to changing conditions • additional anti-reflective coatings on the back reduce reflections and ghosting • Chroma Astronomy filters are parfocal to each other • optimized for f/4 and slower optics, as well as for operation at f/3 thanks to CWL shift • not intended for solar observation • H-alpha filter 3 nm 36 mm unmounted – CT-27001-36D • type: narrowband H-alpha filter for astrophotography • diameter: 36 mm, unframed • bandwidth: 3 nm • central wavelength (CWL): approx. 656 nm • transmission: approx. 99% • optical substrate: 3.0 mm thick glass • coating technology: reactive magnetron sputtering (hard coatings) • coating construction: main layer on the front side, AR coatings on the back side • Transmitted wavefront accuracy: better than 0.25 waves/inch • parfocal: yes (with other Chroma Astronomy filters) • production: USA (Vermont)
