Svbony 2" SV220 Dual-Band 7nm Nebula Filter is a professional astronomical filter that allows you to photograph planetary and emission nebulae and supernova remnants near cities and other areas polluted by sodium and mercury lamp light.

This filter is characterized by high transmittance for the Hα (656.3 nm) and OIII (500.7 nm) bands, while maintaining the ability to effectively cut out spectral lines emitted by city lighting, significantly improving c thus contrast in the obtained images. The improvement in contrast and detail of photographs is also due to the narrow transmission window, whose half-width for both transmitted lines is only 7 nm. The spectral characteristics selected in this way enable very good separation of red and blue-green light from other undesirable lines, and thus maximize the signal coming from the photographed objects.

The filter can be used with telescopes with a light intensity not exceeding f/5.

The most important features of the Svbony 2" SV220 Dual-Band 7nm Nebula Filter

• two-band nebular filter made of high-quality substrate
• recommended for use with telescopes with a maximum light intensity of f/5
• high transmission for the Hα and OIII lines with a half-width transmittance window of 7 nm
• efficient removal of light pollution
