The SVBONY H-Alpha 5nm 2" Narrowband Filter (SVBONY, SKU: W9187DB) is designed for astronomical photography in urban and suburban environments. It transmits only a narrow band of light, 5 nm wide, concentrated around the 656.3 nm wavelength (hydrogen alpha emission lines), effectively eliminating most of the artificial sky illumination and infrared radiation in the 700-1000 nm range. This eliminates the need for an additional IR-cut filter. It is intended for use with telescopes with an aperture ratio of f/4 or higher. • H-alpha narrowband filter with a transmittance of 5 nm • light transmission of ≥90% at a wavelength of 656.3 nm • effective cut-off of the infrared band (700–1000 nm) • improving the contrast and detail of images in bright conditions • mounting diameter 2" (thread M48 × 0.75) • designed for telescopes with a focal ratio of f/4 or greater • the filter is not intended for observing the Sun • SVBONY H-Alpha 5nm 2" filter • protective box • model: SV227 • type: H-alpha filter • size: 2" (with M48 × 0.75 thread) • active diameter: 44 mm • center wavelength (CWL): 656.3 nm • bandwidth (FWHM): 5 nm • wavelength range: 300–1000 nm • peak transmission: ≥90% • band attenuation: ≥OD5 • substrate thickness: 1.85 mm • surface quality: 60/40 • surface flatness: 1/4λ • parallelism: 30″ • thread: M48 × 0.75 • single thread: yes • weight: 12.5 g 24 months
