The Player One CH ₄ E-Series 1.25″ Filter (SKU: POA-CH4-125E) is a narrowband methane filter with an 8 nm bandwidth , designed for high-contrast planetary photography in the methane absorption band (~889 nm). By blocking light outside the narrow transmission range, the filter perfectly highlights details in the upper atmospheres of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, as well as the polar cloud structure of these planets.
