The Askar ColourMagic Ultra E2 2" Duo-narrowband Filter (S-II + O-III) is a specialist narrowband filter designed for deep sky imaging with colour cameras. It combines the ultra-narrow band S II 672 nm and O-III 500.7 nm, enabling the recording of sulphur and oxygen emissions in a single shot – a perfect complement to the popular H α + O III filter. The unique "Ultra" technology minimises halos: one band is 3.7 nm wide, the other 4 nm wide, which translates into high contrast and effective suppression of city lights.
