Fenix AER-05 is a remote gel switch dedicated to the Fenix TK16 V2.0 flashlight. The switch ensures precise operation and quick mounting on the weapon using velcro tape or cable ties.
The AER-05 has been equipped with two buttons, i.e. a silent pressure switch (without a click) with high sensitivity to activate the momentary light and change modes and a round tactical switch (with with a click) used to initiate flashlight operation and continuous lighting.
The life of the buttons is 100,000 actuations and they are capable of transmitting 3 A current for a long time. Thanks to users' suggestions, the second generation of switches uses a simple cable with an optimal length of 23 cm made of flexible PU material.
The adapter screwed to flashlights (TR22.4×1.5 mm thread) is made of T6 aluminum. The metal has been hard anodized HA-III, which guarantees very high resistance to abrasion and scratches. The AER-05 design has an IP68 protection class, thanks to which the switch is resistant to dust, small solids and total immersion in 2 m water for 30 minutes. The AER-05 is designed for flashlights powered by the 2100 cell, with the APF control system. The switch can be attached to the weapon in two ways, i.e.
(i) with Velcro (included) - which allows for quick installation and detachment of the switch
(ii) with 4 cable ties - for long and regular use.
